French Café is envisioned as a refined, intimate dining space that brings the charm of classic Parisian cafés into a contemporary Kerala setting. The design focuses on creating a calm, welcoming environment where guests can slow down, connect, and enjoy a timeless café experience.

Design Concept

The core concept revolves around Parisian elegance with modern restraint. Soft arches, paneled walls, and curated artwork reference traditional French cafés, while a muted green palette, clean lines, and minimal detailing keep the space fresh and relevant. Subtle local sensibilities are introduced through warmth, material tactility, and comfortable proportions.

Spatial Planning & Zoning

Arrival & Visual Threshold:
The entry opens into a long, visually connected café space that immediately establishes depth, rhythm, and openness.

Linear Dining Spine:
A clear central circulation axis runs through the café, ensuring smooth movement and uninterrupted visual flow from entrance to the far end.

Banquette Seating Zone:
Continuous green upholstered banquette seating lines the walls, offering comfort and spatial continuity while maximizing seating efficiency.

Two-Top Café Seating:
Compact tables paired with light wooden chairs support intimate dining and flexible seating arrangements.

Feature Wall & Art Niches:
Arched wall details and framed artwork punctuate the length of the café, creating visual pauses and reinforcing the French café identity.

Window Edge Seating:
Seating along the glazed façade enhances natural light, street connection, and the everyday café rhythm.
