Saketam Motel is designed as a refined hospitality space where modern luxury meets comfort and functionality. The project focuses on creating a welcoming and memorable experience for travelers through carefully curated interiors that blend elegance, warmth, and contemporary aesthetics.

Designed by Creatabar Interior Architecture, the motel interior reflects a sophisticated design language that enhances the guest experience from the moment they enter the reception area to the café and lounge spaces. The design prioritizes spatial clarity, premium materials, and ambient lighting to create an inviting environment suitable for both relaxation and social interaction.

Design Concept

The core concept behind Saketham Motel is “Modern Comfort with Elegant Identity.” The interior uses a rich palette of deep teal tones, warm wood textures, gold accents, and marble finishes to create a premium hospitality atmosphere.

These materials are combined with fluid ceiling lighting, decorative metal screens, and curated furniture pieces to establish a space that feels both luxurious and welcoming. The overall design balances bold visual statements with calm, comfortable seating areas to ensure guests feel relaxed throughout their stay.

Reception & Arrival Experience

The reception area forms the first impression of the motel, designed to convey elegance and professionalism. A marble reception desk with subtle branding elements creates a strong visual focal point, while the deep teal accent wall with gold signage reinforces the motel’s identity.

Warm pendant lighting and wood paneling soften the space, creating a welcoming atmosphere for arriving guests. Comfortable seating placed near the reception ensures a relaxed waiting experience while maintaining a clean and uncluttered layout.

The reception zone is intentionally designed to be visually striking yet highly functional, allowing staff to manage guest interactions smoothly.

Lobby Lounge

Adjacent to the reception area, the lobby lounge provides a comfortable social space where guests can relax or wait before check-in. Plush leather sofas in warm brown and deep teal tones are arranged around a central coffee table to create an inviting seating cluster.

Large indoor plants add a refreshing natural element, softening the contemporary interior. The lounge is enhanced by sculptural ceiling lighting that flows across the ceiling, introducing movement and visual interest while maintaining a calm atmosphere.

The combination of soft furnishings, warm lighting, and spacious layout ensures the lobby feels like an elegant living room rather than a typical motel waiting area.

Decorative Elements & Spatial Identity

One of the defining design features of the Saketham Motel interior is the use of decorative metal screens and wall features. Gold metal partitions introduce subtle separation between spaces while maintaining visual continuity across the interior.

A striking world map wall installation in gold creates a symbolic design statement, reflecting travel, exploration, and global connectivity—perfectly aligning with the motel’s purpose as a resting point for travelers.

These design features transform functional spaces into visually engaging hospitality environments.

Café & Dining Experience

The motel café is designed as a warm and stylish dining area where guests can enjoy refreshments in a relaxed setting. Cane-back dining chairs, marble tables, and warm pendant lighting create a comfortable yet elegant atmosphere.

The café counter features deep green cabinetry with integrated lighting, accented with gold trims that elevate the overall visual appeal. The curved lighting detail above the counter introduces softness and fluidity to the space.

This café environment is designed not just as a dining space but as a social hub within the motel, encouraging guests to unwind and enjoy the ambiance.

Material & Color Palette

The interior palette of Saketham Motel is carefully curated to balance luxury and warmth. Deep teal walls provide a rich and sophisticated backdrop, while gold accents introduce elegance and highlight key design elements.

Natural materials such as wood and cane furniture bring warmth and texture, preventing the space from feeling overly formal. Marble surfaces at the reception and tables add a premium touch while ensuring durability.

Lighting Design
