Icy Bakes

Icy Bakes Bakery is envisioned as a contemporary neighbourhood bakery in Guntur, designed to offer a welcoming retail experience that celebrates freshness, craft, and brand identity. The project aims to create a bright, engaging space where customers can seamlessly explore baked products while enjoying a refined yet approachable environment rooted in clarity and warmth.

Design Concept

The design concept is centered on modern minimalism with playful undertones. A soft neutral base is layered with teal accents to reflect the brand’s youthful and fresh character. Clean architectural lines, repeated arch forms, and subtle textures work together to create a space that feels calm, organized, and visually inviting, while allowing the products to remain the primary focus.

Spatial Planning & Zoning

Arrival & First Impression:
The entry opens directly into a visually expansive retail zone, offering immediate sightlines to the display counters and brand wall, creating a strong and memorable first impression.

Main Display & Retail Zone:
A linear display counter forms the core of the layout, guiding customer movement while ensuring maximum product visibility. The counter placement allows easy circulation and smooth interaction between customers and staff.

Peripheral Display Shelving:
Wall-mounted and arched shelving units line the sides, providing structured product display and reinforcing visual rhythm across the space without overwhelming the interior.

Central Feature Display:
A centrally positioned island display adds depth to the layout, encouraging exploration and creating a focal point within the retail experience.

Service & Back-of-House Zones:
Service counters and operational areas are strategically integrated to ensure efficiency while remaining visually discreet and uninterrupted by customer circulation.
